Healthy Pumpkin
Soup Ingredients:
Fenuflakes 2 scoops (20 g)
Pumpkin 250 g chopped into cubes
Onion 1 medium-sized chopped
Garlic Cloves 5 – 6
Chili flakes 1 – 2 (Spiciness Preference)
Oil 2 Tbsp
Bay Leaf 1 medium-sized
Cinnamon Stick 1 small
Cloves 2 – 3
Star Anise (Chakraphul) 1
Mixed Herbs 1½ Tsp
Crushed Black Pepper 1½ Tsp
Fresh Cream ¼ Cup (60 ml)
Honey 2 Tsp
Coriander/Basil Leaf For Garnish
Salt To Taste

Chili flakes 1 – 2 (Spiciness Preference) Oil 2 Tbsp
Bay Leaf 1 medium sized Cinnamon Stick 1 small
Cloves 2 – 3 Star Anise (Chakraphul) 1
Mixed Herbs 1½ Tsp Crushed Black Pepper 1½ Tsp
Fresh Cream ¼ Cup (60 ml) Honey 2 Tsp
Coriander/Basil Leaf For Garnish Salt To Taste
Step-By-Step Instructions:
- 1. To make healthy pumpkin recipe, heat oil in a heavy bottom pan. Add Cumin, bay leaf, cinnamon, clove, star anise, dry chilli/chilli flakes. Sauté for 30 seconds. Add Chopped Onion and garlic, Sauté’ till onion turns slightly brown.
- 2.Add Pumpkin. Sauté for 4 –5 min on medium flame. Add 1½ cup (180 ml) of water. Cook till Pumpkin turns mushy.
- 3.Make Puree of the Pumpkin. If required, add water to achieve soupy consistency. Add black Pepper, Mixed herbs, salt, and honey. Simmer for 2 –3 min. Add Fresh cream and FenuFlakes™.
- 4.Garnish with Coriander/Basil leaves.
